Transitional housing refers to a two year period in between
temporary shelter and a permanent housing solution. Rental payments are subsidized at a level of affordability for the
tenant. Oasis collects weekly rental payments, with adjustments to subsidy amounts by quarter, until the tenant is able
to pay the full amount. Toward the end of the transitional period, tenants are encouraged to save for a future rental
deposit.
